Stephen Mulholland, CFA, CFP® is the Chief Investment Officer and a CFA charter holder. CFA Institute awards the chartered financial analyst designation only after three levels of exams have been passed and after at least four years of work experience have been accumulated. Stephen is also a certified financial planner. He earned a Master of Science in Economics degree from the Barcelona Graduate School of Economics. He entered the investment industry in 2001 and successfully managed an investment fund in New York City. He also helped endowments, foundations, and family offices manage their portfolios in San Francisco, while working at the James Irvine Foundation and Callan Associates. He lives in San Diego County with his family.
Mark Kuperstock, IACCP® is a Principal and Founding Partner of Mulholland & Kuperstock Asset Management LLC. Mark has been an investment professional for most of the past 34 years including terms with UBS and Oppenheimer. He served as the Managing Director and Fixed Income Portfolio Manager for a boutique RIA for ten-years prior to starting his firm with Stephen Mulholland. Mark has dedicated his community and charitable efforts for the past three decades to helping child and youth serving agencies across Los Angeles. Mark served as Board President for Jewish Big Brothers Big Sisters of Los Angeles from January 2017-December 2019, and has been a member of the Board of Directors since 2012. He is a past Chairman of the PGA Tour Nissan Los Angeles Open Golf Tournament (benefiting 11 youth charities in the community); a former Board Member of the Rio Hondo Boys & Girls Club; past Board Member of the LA Junior Chamber of Commerce and was a founding member of the Los Angeles Children’s Library. Mark lives in Summerlin, NV with his wife and son.
